We are the confidence music and drama school!
We focus on confidence building for young people, expanding their creativity in music, drama and dance. A support system where students feel welcomed, open and willing to explore and be celebrated for their talents.

We believe in the importance of music for young people, and helping find their own voice and confidence. Playforte provides small group and individual instrumental lessons in a wide variety of instruments - from piano to flute, guitar to singing.

Our founder Rosie has extensive experience in working professionally in the UK and Asia as a musician and actor. She founded Playforte to craft a musical and theatrical programme to develop skills in young people from a variety of backgrounds. She began the company as an outreach project with the aim of normalising the idea of a music career for young people and families of working class backgrounds.

All Playforte tutors are Actor-Musicians currently working professionally in the UK Theatre industry, guaranteeing you an excellent and up-to-date standard of teaching.
